Born and art educated in the UK, Sadie Cuming has always been driven to create art. She has worked in a variety of media from fabric to clay, but her current passion is working in metal and glass to create striking jewelry.

Sadie’s work explores the different shapes, rich textures and brilliant colors that can be achieved using precious metals and glass. Sadie says, “Glass provides me with a palette of vibrant colors in a range of transparency and translucency. I use other natural materials, semi-precious stones and textural finishes to achieve a unique and distinctive statement.”

Tantalizing themes recur throughout Sadie’s work—vessels, open doors, interwoven threads, or seeds. Themes evolve in different directions as she works with them, creating fresh and unexpected results.
